Jill Halstead is a clinical academic and co-founder of MSKUK. Jill holds degrees in Sport and Exercise Science (2000), Podiatry (2003) and Health Research (2008). Jill has worked in leading rheumatology and diabetes departments in Leeds and Salford and currently works as a musculoskeletal specialist podiatrist part-time at Leeds Community Healthcare NHS Trust. Jill Halstead is funded through HEE as a Bridging Fellow and for the last 6 years has held a visiting research fellow title at the Leeds Institute of Rheumatic and Musculoskeletal Medicine. Jill completed her PhD in 2013, she is a leading researcher in midfoot osteoarthritis, her additional research interests include exploring the application of MRI and gait in midfoot pain including tendon and ligament pathology.
